Competition Rules

These rules govern prize and ranked competitions on this platform. Game-specific conditions published before entry form part of the same rule set. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED before publication.

These Competition Rules apply to skill-based competitions operated on SkillArena (skillarena.bio). They should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Eligibility & Availability, Refund Policy, Fair Play and any game-specific rules shown on the relevant game page before you enter. Where a game-specific rule conflicts with this page on a narrow operational point (for example, scoring formula or competition end time), the game-specific publication for that event prevails for that point only.

Availability and eligibility may vary by jurisdiction. Nothing on this page invents a licence, regulator approval or worldwide legal status. Placeholder fields must be replaced with verified details before public launch.

1. Organiser

Competitions are organised by ZAKİR BAĞIROV, registered under number Not applicable — individual operator (no company registration), with registered address at Lermontov 113/117, Baku 1001, Azerbaijan (the “Organiser”). Support enquiries relating to competitions should be sent to support@skillarena.bio.

2. Eligibility

Only individuals who meet all of the following may enter a prize or ranked competition:

The Organiser may require evidence of age, identity, residence and payment method ownership before awarding a prize. Failure to complete verification within the stated timeframe may result in disqualification and reallocation of the prize according to the published ranking rules.

3. Minimum age

The minimum age to create an account and enter competitions is 18. If local law in your place of residence imposes a higher age for paid skill competitions or prize receipt, the higher age applies. Parents and guardians are responsible for preventing under-age access where they control devices or payment methods.

4. Jurisdictions

The intended market for this service is United Kingdom. Availability and eligibility may vary by jurisdiction. The Organiser may refuse, suspend or cancel entries from locations where participation would be unlawful, where sanctions apply, or where the Organiser has not completed required compliance configuration. See Eligibility & Availability for the current framework and placeholders for permitted and prohibited country lists.

5. Competition period

Each competition has a published start time and end time (or a fixed number of rounds / seats). Times are shown on the competition or game page in a clearly labelled timezone or in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Entries submitted after the closing time are invalid. If a competition is delayed for technical or operational reasons, the Organiser will update the published schedule where reasonably practicable.

6. Entry fee

Where a competition requires an entry fee, the fee amount and currency (GBP / £) are shown before you confirm entry. There are no undisclosed add-on charges for the act of entering beyond the published fee and any payment-provider charges that your bank or wallet may apply independently. Practice and free-play modes, where offered, do not require purchase.

7. Free-entry method

Free postal or alternative free-entry route: Unless a specific competition page expressly publishes a free-entry method for that event, no free-entry alternative is offered for that paid competition. Do not assume a free-entry route exists. Where a free-entry method is later configured for a particular event, the method, address, deadlines and entry limits will be stated on that competition’s page and will form part of these rules for that event only.

8. Permitted entries

Unless a competition page states otherwise, each eligible account may submit the number of entries shown for that event (often one). Multiple accounts used to circumvent entry limits are prohibited. Shared devices do not create additional entry rights. Bulk, automated or scripted entry is forbidden.

9. Scoring methodology

Outcomes are determined by measurable performance under the published scoring formula for the game — for example accuracy, completion time within skill constraints, strategic score, knowledge correctness or reaction quality. The scoring method, including any penalties, bonuses and how incomplete attempts are treated, is disclosed on the game page before entry. Hidden random number generation is not used to select winners or prize amounts.

10. Skill requirements

Participants are expected to play personally using their own skill, knowledge, strategy, accuracy, reaction or decision-making as relevant to the format. Assistance from unauthorised third parties during a scored attempt, use of bots, macros or aim aids, or exploitation of bugs to inflate scores, voids the relevant entry and may lead to account action under Fair Play rules.

11. Winner determination

Winners and ranked positions are determined by comparing valid scores (or match outcomes) under the published ruleset for that competition. Provisional leaderboards may be shown during an event; official results are those confirmed after anti-cheat and verification checks. Where prizes are awarded to a fixed number of top ranks, only those ranks receive the stated prizes, subject to eligibility and verification.

12. Tie-breaking

If two or more participants have equal scores at the close of scoring, ties are resolved using the predetermined skill-based tie-breakers published for that game (for example earlier completion time of the equal score, fewer penalties, or a published secondary skill metric). If all published tie-breakers remain equal, the Organiser may split the prize equally among tied eligible participants or apply a further skill-based play-off if stated in the competition notice. Chance-based draws are not used to break ties for prize competitions presented as skill competitions.

13. Prizes

Prize descriptions, values and any non-cash alternatives are published before entry. Prizes are awarded only to verified eligible winners. Tax, reporting and any local declaration obligations may rest with the winner where applicable under local law; the Organiser does not provide tax advice. Prize availability may be restricted by jurisdiction.

14. Prize limits

Individual competitions may cap the maximum prize per person, per household, or per payment method within a period. Aggregate limits, where configured, will be shown in the competition notice or account terms. Exceeding limits through multi-accounting is prohibited and may result in forfeiture.

15. Prize delivery

Cash or wallet prizes, where offered, are delivered through the published payout process after successful verification. Physical or digital non-cash prizes are delivered using the contact and address details on the winner’s account. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary by payment rail, fraud review or courier. Unclaimed prizes after the published claim window may be forfeited and reallocated according to ranking or cancelled.

16. Verification

The Organiser may request government-issued identification, proof of address, proof of payment method, selfie or live verification, and source-of-funds information where required by law or risk policy. Providing false documents is prohibited. Until verification is complete, prizes may be withheld.

17. Cheating and prohibited conduct

Without limitation, the following are prohibited:

Suspected breaches may lead to score voiding, prize forfeiture, suspension or termination. See Fair Play & Game Integrity.

18. Technical failures

The Organiser does not guarantee uninterrupted service. If a competition is materially disrupted by platform outage, scoring corruption or similar technical failure, the Organiser may pause, extend, void affected attempts, restart the event, or cancel and refund eligible entry fees in line with the Refund Policy. Participant device failure, local network issues or third-party ISP problems do not automatically entitle a participant to a replay or refund unless the competition notice states otherwise.

19. Cancellation

The Organiser may cancel or amend a competition before or during play where required for legal, integrity, safety or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated via the site or email where practicable. Cancelled paid competitions are handled under the Refund Policy.

20. Refunds

Entry fees are generally non-refundable once a scored attempt has begun, except where required by law or where the Refund Policy expressly allows a refund (for example Organiser cancellation or confirmed duplicate charges). Full detail: Refund Policy.

21. Disputes

Scoring or result disputes should be raised promptly via support@skillarena.bio or the Contact form, including competition ID, account email, approximate time and a clear description. The Organiser will review server logs and rule versions. Decisions after review are final under these rules, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

22. Legal jurisdiction

These Competition Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED — default selected for a United Kingdom–facing free skill-games service.
