Fair Play & Game Integrity

Equal rules, transparent scoring and clear expectations about automation, multi-accounting and collusion — plus how technical disputes, result reviews, suspensions and appeals are handled.

Integrity is part of how SkillArena operates, not a marketing slogan. This page summarises participant-facing standards. Binding detail lives in the Competition Rules and Terms. We do not claim independent audits, certifications or laboratory verifications that have not been obtained.

Same game rules for participants

Competitors in the same SkillArena event play under the same published ruleset and comparable difficulty conditions for that heat. We do not run parallel “house” versions that secretly favour one group of accounts.

When a rules update is required mid-season, affected competitions are labelled with the version in force. If an emergency fix is needed during a live window, we document the change and apply it uniformly rather than adjusting individual scores ad hoc without explanation.

Transparent scoring

Each game page explains how points are calculated, which penalties apply and how winners are determined. Tie-breakers are ordered and published in advance. Provisional client totals are subordinate to server-side validation.

We do not invent star ratings, fabricated win-rate badges or fake “hot streak” widgets to imply popularity or inevitability. Rankings reflect validated performance for the event in question.

Anti-cheating rules

Cheating includes any attempt to gain an unfair advantage outside the permitted interface and published rules: modified clients, memory editors, answer injection, artificial input streams, or exploiting confirmed bugs after becoming aware of them without reporting.

Confirmed breaches may result in voided scores, withheld prizes, temporary suspension or permanent account closure under the Competition Rules. Investigations use available logs and integrity signals; they are not a promise of perfect detection in every case.

Prohibited automation and bots

Bots, macros, auto-clickers, scripted solvers and third-party tools that submit answers or moves on your behalf are prohibited in competitive modes unless a format is explicitly labelled to allow assisted play (which standard skill competitions are not).

Unusual timing distributions, impossible solve patterns and machine-like consistency may trigger review. Practise modes remain free of purchase requirements but still must not be used to develop or test prohibited automation for later competitive use.

Multi-accounting restrictions

One person should operate one competitive account, except where the Competition Rules expressly allow linked secondary accounts for a defined reason. Creating multiple accounts to enter the same event, farm practice intelligence for collusion, or evade limits is prohibited.

Device, payment and behavioural signals may be used to detect multi-accounting. Linked accounts involved in a breach may be restricted together. Attempting to open a new account after a permanent ban is itself a breach.

Collusion restrictions

Collusion means coordinating with others to manipulate rankings, share live private match state, exchange answers during closed-book events, or arrange intentional underperformance for another entrant’s benefit.

Public discussion of general strategy is fine; real-time assistance during a live scored heat is not, unless the event is explicitly team-based and team communication is allowed in the rules. Prize splitting arrangements that circumvent published placement awards may also be treated as integrity breaches.

Account-security recommendations

Use a unique password, enable any available multi-factor options, and never share login credentials. Phishing messages that imitate support will not ask you to send your password by email.

Secure your email account and devices. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact support. You are responsible for activity conducted from your logged-in session unless you can demonstrate compromise and cooperate with investigation.

Technical dispute process

Report disconnects, frozen clients or suspected scoring faults promptly via support@skillarena.bio, including competition identifier, timestamps and what you saw on screen. Do not assume a screenshot alone overrides server logs, but do include any evidence you have.

Support will check known incidents, match state and connectivity indicators. Remedies may include match resume, void, partial scoring on last valid state, or entry fee handling under the Refund Policy — depending on what the Competition Rules prescribe for that fault class.

Game-result review procedure

Result reviews re-check validated scores against official puzzle definitions, answer keys, timing windows and integrity void rules. Reviews are factual: they ask whether the published method was applied correctly, not whether a different scoring design would have been preferable.

If an erratum is required (for example a defective item), adjustments apply to all affected entrants and are disclosed. Frivolous review requests that simply disagree with a fair outcome will be closed with an explanation.

Suspension procedure

Accounts may be suspended pending investigation when integrity signals are strong, when verification is overdue, or when Terms breaches are alleged. Suspension can block paid entry, withdrawals or login depending on severity.

You will be notified through available contact channels with a high-level reason where legally appropriate. Temporary suspensions may be lifted if the investigation clears the account; confirmed breaches follow the sanction ladder in the Competition Rules.

Appeals and contact procedure

To appeal a suspension, void or integrity sanction, email support@skillarena.bio with your account reference, the decision you are appealing and any new factual information. Appeals should be lodged within the timeframe stated in the Competition Rules.

Appeals are reviewed by staff who were not solely responsible for the original decision where resources allow. The appeal outcome will be communicated in writing. This process is an internal review — it is not a claim of external arbitration, independent audit or regulatory certification.

For general integrity questions that are not formal appeals, use the Help Centre or Contact page. Company details for ZAKİR BAĞIROV are listed on the Company Information page.
